Is it ALL seats?
like, no minor frontal part of the stage? Or chairs that can be tossed?

someone should tell the city of thunder bay (who owns the auditorium) that these shows should be at another venue which would be more suitable for this.
take it up with the mayor.

Alright, it's utter blasphemy that Moneen should have to play in a place where no one can move.

the autitorium shows are so boring, standing up infront of your chair, no movement what so ever. how many people can the auditorium hold? cuz i know the gardens can hold like 3 times as much, but im wondering how many more it can hold than the old warp 9 could. I remember having ticket #872 for a show there.

The auditorium can hold 1500 people, while the old Warp 9 could squeeze in around 900.

ok, i thought it was somewhere around 1000 at the old warp 9.
anyways, i don't think its a good idea to put all these pop/punk or whatever shows in the auditorium, but i don't think having a couple of people complaining about it is going to stop them from being held there. they're probably making a lot of money too.

i havent been to any of the shows at the auditorium yet...but im completely dreading the idea of seeing moneen there...without the pit and the closeness to the band that you can have at the apollo the moneen experience is gunna be shattered..i mean im still super stoked to see them again...but good god. if people have ideas about how to maybe take this up with the city or whoever...im fully on board

i'd be willing to do something about it, as long as theres a big enough group of people against it to make it worth while.
the closeness to the band is the biggest issue with me, i bought 4th row tickets to see sum 41, and 4th row was really 8th row, because the first 4 rows are unavailable to the public. i could barely see the band at all, anything further back robably needed binoculars to fully see what was going on.
really, i'd be happy at the community auditorium if they'd take out the first 4 rows of seats and allow the people on the floor to move up. They seem to be hosting a lot of bands that are popular now, so making the seats on the floor removeable would be awsome. Not just that, but with the chairs removed you could probably double the crowd. That would never happen but it would be sweet.
I've yet to see a band I trully love at the auditorium, I've been to 4-5 shows there just because. If a band I really like came to thunder bay and played there, I'd be disappointed to say the least.

City of Thunder Bay bands contact the audiutorium, and the city books the shows. pawns it off on whoever the director of public relations is. so you need to talk to city counsil.
