Sarah Harmer at the Auditorium.  she was great.  i don't know how many of you actually listen to folk/acoustic stuff, but she and her band were great.

I would have loved to go, but I was slacking and never got out to purchase tickets.  Was it sold-out?  I think it would have been sweet!

I saw Melissa McClelland open for Matt Good last week and someone compared her to Sarah Harmer.  I'll admit, I don't listen to Harmer much, but if they sound anything alike, then I really missed out on something awesome.

Cheers!

i bought tickets at 3:30 yesterday afternoon....it wasn't sold out, but it was a good crowd none-the-less.
Harmer played for about 2-2.5 hours pretty much straight....it was great....

It was pretty packed.  Not sold out, but you'd have a hard time finding three empty seats together.

It was a great performance.  Everyone in the band save the bass player were multi-instrumentalists, switching off as the songs required.  Sarah herself took a turn behind the drum kit to rock out the second half of Lodestar, which was pretty much the best way imaginable to end the main set.  A lot of a talent, a lot of taste, not a single note out of place in two hours.

She gets a lot of radio play.  But seeing the concert, she really does have the talent to back it up.

Well I think she's paid her dues hasn't she?  I've heard the name Sarah Harmer kicking around for nearly a decade I think.

I was there, she blew me away, I had a fuckin great time. I showed up a little late and only caught a lttle over half of her set but she was unreal and the guys she had playing with her were absolutely unreal as well. Some of the most talented musicians Ive ever seen without a doubt.

This was a great show.
