I got curious about the show listings.  Let's see what we can learn from 'em!

***

Which bands play most often?

Code:
Count        Most Frequently Listed Bands
-----------------------------------------
 19       wax philosophic
 19     sueisfine
 18           money honey
 17           speedway detectives
 17           the wayback
 16        amelia
 14          night safari
 14         faceless hulk
13   flipper flanagan's flat footed four
 11         black letter vendetta
 11           when we dead awaken
 11        social hazzard
 11            stradivari
 11           avs
The hiphop scene is bigger than we realize.  Amelia surprised me; they're really getting out there for such a new band.

How much are the kids missing out on?

Code:
                                All Ages?
-----------------------------------------
                      YES : 341 (52.62%)
                      NO : 307 (47.38%)
More than half of listed shows are all ages.

How much do shows usually cost?

Code:
Count                         Price
-----------------------------------
 212                              5
  86                              0
  45                              8
  39                              ?
  35                             10
  30                              6
  25                              3
  24                              7
  13                              2
  13                             20
  12                             15
  11                              4
  11                             12

Average price is $8.32, across 560 of 648 listed shows.  The total cost to attend all of 'em would be $1482.
This is probably skewed upwards a bit by some of the really big Auditorium shows.  Nonetheless, I think most shows are cheaper than they'd be in a larger city.

Which venues have the most shows, and how often are they all ages?

Code:
Count                     Venue        %AA
-------------------------------------------
 168          The Apollo   11.31%
 165             Kilroys   72.73%
  50          Community Auditorium  100.00%
  47               Jacks    8.51%
  27                 The Outpost   37.04%
  26          Wise Guys   88.46%
  19            GrannArt  100.00%
  16          The Office   37.50%
  14              The L.U. Study   85.71%
  10          Alexander's on Court    0.00%
I think Jacks and the Auditorium are a bit low; we're not listing everything there.  My own personal estimate of how many AA shows were at the Apollo was about half that; I think there might be a couple errors.  Still, I'm impressed by how much has been going on at Kilroys.  From not even being a venue a year ago, they've really gotten right into it.

I love statistics so much I am a Financial Statistics tutor? Does anyone want to get together one night and determine if a correlation exists between Gab's obnoxious rants and scene productivity?

3 out of 5 of Social Hazzard band members play gigs so they can buy cocaine.  There, I said it.
