Although i would love to see a security guard charged with assult... it would never happen. At least not in this case. They are given a certain amount of power to provide a safe environment for everyone... and if you mean assult as in physically moving everyone back, you would have litterally no chance of a case...

Not that it really matters...but I got a call back from the General Manager of the auditorium and yes, something IS being done about this specific security guard. He agreed with everything I said. And he didn't just "move me back physically"...He shoved me back into the crowd. No security guard has the right to touch someone without a reason...and I was doing nothing but standing there.

There were only a handfull of security guards, but I know the one you're talking about. No only was he PUSHING people in line, but he was also incredibly rude to alot of people.

I says pick up the pink slip......

um i have to agree with "meg" the one up at the front that was all cool on his walkie talkie(which i seriously think didnt have batteries or there wasnt anyone on the other line... because he kept talking into and no response) and he was saying get back(which is normal) but i dumped into my friend and he was like yelling at me to get back then he took my by my arms and pushed me into her. and that wasnt the first time we were touched out of place.

Yeah ... If I could just let things lie, then that would probably happen. But I don't easily let things go, especially stuff like this. In 2 weeks I am meeting personally with Bob Halverson, so no, I am sure they won't just let it go.

It seems like most people on here like to complain and say how shitty they were treated, but expect that nothing could be done about it. You people have voices, do you not? Learn to speak up and don't put up with any shit. It's not as complicated as it sounds.

for every asshole security guard they get rid of, they'll need to hire another asshole security guard to replace him

Exactly, and that still doesn't change the fact that they won't allow moshing at the concert. Unless they allow people to come up to the front if they're in like the first 10 rows..
