Attention Show Promoters and Future Promoters:

This revision has be awhile in coming but we've had some set-backs
here at CILU which have kept us from being able to work out the finer
details of the issues. Our past deal of simply putting our logo on
show posters really did not work out very well. Promoters were
supposed to actually bring the posters/handbills to the station so
that we had proof they were done AND so we could help promote the
shows when we were at other events. Unfortunately, there were many
cases were shows were promoted by the station with no follow through
from the other end. Although you may not believe it, it does cost us
time and money to put together advertisements for show and make sure
that they get on the air. As a result, LU Radio has decided to change
the way we do show promotion.

As of now, if you wish to have an ad done for your show separate from
the 'What's Up In Thunder Bay' announcements it will cost. The price
per ad will be $3 to a maximum of $25 dollars. I.E. if you want us to
run 1 ad, 1 time, it would be $3. If you want us to run 1 ad 100
times, it would be $25 dollars. The logo on the poster condition still
stands, however before we action the ad we require proof that at LEAST
30 posters were printed for the show. Ideally, this will be a receipt
and some copies of the posters for us to take to events with us,
however a copy of the receipt alone would be sufficient. Without proof
of posters being printed, the cost of advertising the show goes up to
$7.50 per ad, with no cap. Please note that this is ONLY available to
shows being promoted by individuals. It does not apply to advertising
for businesses, services, etc.

If you don't want to pay, that's perfectly fine. Ensure that your show
is posted on www.tbshows.com, or www.baycore.net , or send an email to
whatsupinthunderbay@gmail.com and we'll get it on the 'What's Up In
Thunder Bay' rotation.

Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions or
concerns feel free to contact me.
