I could be wrong, but the 28th was originally the 3rd date of War on the Shore. Since it's only two days now, he might still have it booked. Who knows?

I hope someone finds a new venue and starts booking shows soon. I've had 3 bands and an indie label contact me in the last month or so asking how to get shows in town because the Apollo is impossible to get into. In fact, they've gotten no reply to their emails and phone calls. One band actually stopped by on its way from Winnipeg to Toronto to book themselves a spot on open jam night on the way back, just to play a show. That's crap, and not getting back to someone, even just to say, 'Sorry I Can't Fit You In'? That's ridiculous!

i have been looking around for another venue and really the apollo is the only one and they pretty much are owned by chapell and jimmy so if either of these guys don't do it then warp 9 is an option but a smaller show at warp 9 isnt worth it. therefore its someones jam space possibly capitol theatre or 214 syndacate.

I hate to even suggest it, but what about The Office? Maybe we could scare out the drunken brawlers once in awhile!

we're looking to play thunder bay and/or somewhere in the area...if there's room on war on the shores, let us know.  if there's another place in town, the countryside or the forest we can play...a jam space, garage, cottage for the afternoon with some local bands, let us know.

the showdate we're still looking at is sunday, august 28th.
please contact me at the email address below.

thanks folks - appreciate all the posts, we'll hopefully get something worked out!

who has a camp with electricity i like this plan allready haha. someone must be renting a somewhat spacious jamspace that could accomodate them cause i know im not going to war on shore if theres a band i actually like playing otherwise. i dunno if someone has a jam space to offer i can figure everything out.

it doesnt even have to be a real jam space someone who has like a house with a nice sized garage in a not very rural area. or in a rural area and we end the show by whenever that sound bylaw thing ends.
