THE BRAINS: Montreal. Summer of 2002. Three zombies had nothing to do but search the land of the living for some entertainment…and so THE BRAINS were born. The undead trio dug up their old and rusty instruments (vocalist/ guitarist René was once in Delta 666; bassist Johnny Montreal and drummer Franck O’ Brains were in the Ripcordz); an old 1800’s coffin bass, a nice, warm 1950's Gretsch guitar and a long forgotten drumkit were more than enough for these fiends to bring their dynamic brand of psychobilly to the masses. Nothin’ like a subtle shot of horror to perk up the undead! THE BRAINS toured relentlessly in support of “No Pain…” , gracing stages alongside RANCID, THE MATADORS, THE CREEPSHOW, BIG JOHN BATES and THE PLANET SMASHERS, criss-crossing the country and rockin’ hundreds of shows along the way. Today, THE BRAINS are among the shortlist of bands to put Canadian psychobilly on the map, along with other genre-defining acts like The Creepshow, The Matadors, The Alley Dukes, The Gutter Demons, Bloodshot Bill and The Farrell Bros. With the May 1 release of their sophomore album “HELL N’ BACK” via psychobilly/punk staple STUMBLE RECORDS, THE BRAINS have expanded on their already kick-ass mix of rockabilly and old school punk rock, even throwin’ in some “vintage” metal for good measure! Heavier, louder, and full of slick psycho hooks.

New Farm is definitely interested in playing this show. New Farm is a new band that has 2 former members from Without The Glory.

Thanks
