For more information on any particular band, click on the link or wiki.  My apologies to bands I don't have links or dates for; if you know, please add them to the wiki.

Pick your favourites; you can vote for up to 5.  Voting will run for 1 week.  Please keep in mind that this is for all the decade, and the more recent bands may be more fresh in your mind.   If anyone wants to do a speech in favour of any particular band, go right ahead.  VOTE!

I voted for the only 3 bands on that list I've ever gone to a show specifically to see:

I third Orange 95. Does it count if only the band members vote?

Surprised notatfault didn't make the cut.   smiley

What this list does tell me is that regardless of the voting (which I am sure will be skewed in favour of some bands), we have had some kick ass bands come out of TBay recently!

I just want to throw it out there that Brette still doesn't have her amp, and at the very least Tim should have to buy her a new one.

Crikey, where were you two days ago when the nominations were running? :P

For those of you arriving via the news article(s), the nominations occurred here: http://forum.tbshows.com/index.php/topic,7640.0.html

Oh, it's certainly going to be skewed.  If I'd have thought of this a few weeks ago instead of a few days ago in a frantic New-Years rush, I'd have put up a proper poll on the main site, thought about criteria for more than 5 seconds, run nominations longer and dug through the show listings to find some of the great bands that just aren't in the genres the majority of the forum has been thinking about...  Ah well, if I'm still around, I promise to do better in 2019 :)

Actually a band of the year vote would be really cool!
