Behemoth are soon to go out as part of the Blackest of the black tour with DANZIG, CHIMAIRA, THE AGONY SCENE and HIMSA and shortly after they will be giving Canadians a truely amazing gift by touring the country all the way across whichs is amazing since most bands from Europe usually only hit the major markets but these guys as big as they are and just coming off a huge tour with KING DIAMOND, NILE and BLACK DAHLIA MURDER to come to Thunder Bay of all places is unheard of but none the less its 100% happening. For this band to tour with the extensive list of bands ive just listed in the past year, looking at that alone is reason to come and see them.
Montreal's Necronomicon will also be on this bill and for those who saw them with Kataklysm back in 2002 please do spread word of their brutality. Necronomicon ripped shit apart at the apollo, they were a site that ive not forgotten and to have them once again is fucking wicked.
The rumours of a 2nd show later in the month are yet to be confirmed, ive been asked to do a second one but we'll have to see how things turn out.
If you dont know who Behemoth is then you really need to get off your ass and click the damn link because these guys are one of the biggest bands in their genre and were acclaimed as one of the best pound for pound metal bands of this era by metal maniacs magazine.
Poland is currently a hotbed for metal, producing bands like Decapitated, Vader, Disavowed and many other amazing bands. I can tell you that even if youre not into metal and you drum you need to be at this show as the drummers from Behemoth and Necronomicon are positively unfuckingreal.
