8.4.3 Off-campus for-profit businesses shall be required to pay an advertising fee as designated by the Vice President Student Issues and the Events and Communications Commissioner.

So long as it isn't 'discriminatory' as per 8.4.1, and is of interest to the Lakehead University Community, as per 8.2.1.1, I don't see any other grounds for them to refuse you.  But I don't go to the school, so I don't know how closely the rules are followed.

Man, they played their asses off. Does anybody have a setlist? There was a song in there I didn't recognize in the first half of the set that knocked my dick in the dirt.

I looked around but couldn't find one. They're probably working from memory off a repetitive set list, with some minor changes they arrange as they go. At least, that's how it appeared to me.
I thing I know what song you mean, and I'm pretty sure it's a new song as well.

Hmmm, interesting. Thanks very much for the link.

There's one woman who works at LUSU, her name is Pat Callaghan who is the most heartless and mean person I have ever met in my entire life. She told my friend whose mother had just died of brain Cancer that a "Fuck Cancer" concert was sexist because the poster had someone pointing the middle finger and therefore could not be advertised at LU despite being a university group event.

If there is one person standing in the way of all advertising at Lakehead it is that awful heartless woman. We should start a petition asking for her to leave her position as general manager of LUSU especially considering she's not a student, and an unelected member of the organization.

You can contact this heartless bitch at:

I bought their new Tour EP off iTunes. The song is called Jubilation.

No, I know that song. I was thinking of a different one... was slower and moodier, but my memory is fading. It's either really old, and I missed it or it's something to look forward to.
I hope they fucking come back.
